Winter Beanie w/Visor & Earflaps for Men Outdoor Fleece Hat Scarf Set

I bought this hat for my 12-year-old son. We have owned it for over a month. The hat is a perfect fit for his head and snugly covers his ears in the cold weather. It is soft and does not give any rashes to the skin. The fabric quality of the hat and scarf is thick and slightly stretchy, the underlining fill is cozy like a fleece blanket, and it provides excellent protection from the wind. Overall, it looks stylish, fits well, and does its job above expectations. I wish the company made girly colors, too.

I looked at many caps on Amazon before deciding on this cap. The others may have been okay also, but this one arrived just as advertised and fits, feels and looks great to me. It is a one-size-fits-all and I guess I'm an average one-size, although in the past I felt I had a head a little on the larger side. It fit exactly. The ear covers hang down as hoped and cover my ears completely. Not worn in high winds outside yet, but unless you buy a cap with a ear strap that goes under your chin, I do not know how you could expect the ear covers to never blow up slightly ? Very warm, with a fur lining. But NOT itching on the head. I'm satisfied with this purchase and hope you will be also. Enjoy.

Great hat and neck scarf set. Warm,well lined. Ears flaps are nice, you can roll cap up in back if you don't want them on at moment. Comfortable. Light to wear. Fits great.

I live in the upper Midwest, and very-cold days are so-much-easier thanks to this great wool-blend pair. You've got to at least try this set on a super-cold and windy day. I had under-estimated the fit and worth of the scarf, in particular! The hat looks great, warms even better, and fits so-justly with the full-sized scarf to shield you from the frigid cold, AND more-importantly, the WIND. Seriously-excellent design and manufacture! NB: This gray set was my second set -I was already happy with my black set!

Warm and comfortable wearing hat. It blocks the wind too. Gave it as a gift.

Full disclaimer: I work outside for a living, I get dirty, the hat wasn't just used, it was abused. With that said, my review is going to be based on the factors I've just defined. While I did try it on and it is warm, I did not use the neck scarf at all. Delivered on October 30, it's now early March so approximately four months have passed and the hat is falling apart due to the abuse of outdoor work and being run through the washer and dryer a few times a week. After the first few washings, a piece of the visor broke off and was floating around inside the enclosed fabric. Over additional time, abuse, washing and drying, another piece broke off the visor on the opposite side and now holes in the fabric have begun to develop on both sides of the visor as well. Safe to say, the hat is definitely not designed to withstand the rigors of outdoor work, getting dirty, and being washed a few times a week. Spring is coming soon and my hope is that the hat will last just a little longer before it gets tossed or I find a way to recycle the fabric into something else. Now for the good. The hat is toasty warm and so far, has kept my head and ears from freezing during the cold winter days. The visor, while it started to fall apart early on, was helpful for keeping the sun out of my eyes while working. The pieces that have broken off are both on the edges so fortunately, it's still usable for the time being. It's a comfortable hat and while it's not designed for the abuse I put it through, if your plan is to purchase this hat/scarf set for social use and maybe the occasional washing, I would recommend it. In all, three stars. If I purchased this hat/scarf for social use, I would have rated it higher.

Gives face shade and protection. Warm, easy to wash and dry. Nice with wool for warmth.

I have a small head. Great hat with visor. Clears my bowstring. I hooked some variegated yarn in to break up my visible outline
