Loose Setting Powder, Face Powder Makeup & Finishing Powder for Light, Medium & Tan Skin Tones

I really like this loose setting powder. It’s translucent so you can use it on any skin type. Which makes it so much easier than having to buy a color of skin tone online. Very delicate and you only need a little bit. Highly recommend.

Okay I very rarely leave reviews unless I absolutely love something or I truly despise it and it belongs in hell. I bought this to test out after trying several powders including but not limited to Huda, Laura Mercier, Estée Lauder, bare minerals, etc. while they look good, they do not last on my skin. I have combination skin, but throughout the day it’s like my makeup literally slips off of my nose (gross I know), it cracks and separates on my chin, and I’ll have dry patches under my eyes. This is with considering pairing water based products with water based products or silicones w silicones AND good skincare prep. No matter what I did, it wouldn’t work. I even completely ditched cream based products because I was convinced I could not wear them. Long story short, I bought this tiny thing of powder and tried it not expecting much and I have been wearing it consistently for two weeks with no issues. My makeup does not crack or separate, I do still have some issues with dry patches which is most likely on me and my skin but this powder lasts literally 8 hours or more for me. I can set my whole face without worrying. Transfer is inevitable for any makeup product but I do feel like it minimizes transfer quite a bit, it definitely helps with the makeup on my nose and it’s extremely mattifying. Overall I had to leave this review because after 15 years of trying to find products that work for me (and not having much luck) I was so taken aback when this tiny pot of ambiguous translucent powder that I purchased absent mindedly for $12 did the damn thing.

As an oily girl, I’m just now learning the significance of powders. The trick with this is to dab it on your face BEFORE applying your regular foundation routine. This will help your face last a long time with a good fixing spray. My only gripe is the packaging. I couldn’t get the inner plastic lid off so I improvised with poking holes through the plastic seal. This helps not making a mess but it now it’s a slow process to use the powder. Overall it’s a small package but I’m sure it’ll last long. It doesn’t feel heavy on my skin & it blends well.

I use this over the "make up" Derma Blend product on some broken blood vessels I have on my sternum from previous radiation treatments. It was a bit embarrassing in a bathing suit. I knew a former theater performer who used this on a port wine stain on her face and it was magic. The color blends in perfectly with my extremely fair skin and you can't tell there is any problem in that area - and when you use this setting powder over the Derma Blend concealer it doesn't rub off or sweat off when I am at the beach. It fades a bit if you get in and out of the ocean or pool several times, but you can touch it up - it's still conceals much more than when I didn't use these product. The powder looks really white when you open it, but over the concealer it is perfect. Recommend.

So I was looking for an inexpensive decent loose setting powder, and I was overall happy with this product except for one thing: the size. I was expecting this to be the full size, and when I received it I was shocked at how small it was. I even bought some beauty puffs in a separate order to be able to apply this powder with, since it doesn’t come with anything to apply it with, and the size of this powder isn’t even close to the size of the beauty puffs to even use them. It’s a nice setting powder, but I definitely don’t think it’s worth the price for how small it is. And now I have a bunch of giant beauty puffs for a tiny small container of setting powder. I have another setting powder that’s only 5$ that is twice the size of this tiny Dermablend one. The sizing is just ridiculous. Definitely check the sizes of cosmetics before ordering them!

Perfect for my travel makeup kit

This is the perfect setting powder. I've tried many but this one is my favorite. I use it for my foundation, with my Sally Hansen airbrush legs, and if I have a blemish I add a little more to that spot with a small brush and let it set for about 5 minutes then gently blend, it flawlessly covers it without looking caked. It's expensive, but a little goes a long way!

Even after taking the inner seal sticker, the holes are still clogged, so no product comes out to use.

Great product - sets makeup and makes my face fabulous.
