Perfect for Period Home
Very pretty stained glass light fixture. My electrician installed it in the living room of our 1929 Tudor house and it looks like it was meant to always be there. We did add a ceiling medallion to make it look more impressive. I love it when it is on because it looks greenish, but less so when off because then it looks very blue and my decor is definitely leaning toward green. I have many stained glass lamps in my home so it fits in beautifully. And the price was extremely reasonable.

Beautiful & good quality
The colors were exactly as described and what I wanted. The installation was easy. Unlike other reviewers, I found the hardware to be fine. Not overly bright light, but perfect in our bedroom. The glass is lovely and I couldn't be happier.

I started out with a lamp and was so impressed I ended up ordering a couple of light fixtures as well. I am super impressed with how good they look. Shipping was quick and packaging was excellent, everything arrived in tact. Goes very well combined with colour changing bulbs

The lamp looks great and is impressive to guests in our home. The included hardware assumes you will be screwing the mounting bar to the ceiling with the included wood screws and wall anchors and running some electrified cable through your ceiling and into the canopy. Your insurance company may not be happy with this so follow local electrical code and use a junction box. You will need some proper size wire nuts (marrettes in Canada), some 8-32 screws to mount the cross bar and if not connecting direct to the ground wire, an optional 8-32 grounding screw on the crossbar. I would recommend getting a 4" swivel crossbar with ground screw, available from the lighting section at you local Home Depot, Lowes, Canadian Tire etc to make mounting a bit easier. The entire lamp is attached to the crossbar via two finial (hex) nuts. The mounting holes on the canopy are recessed and at a slight angle which will add to the frustration especially if you have big hands. I would recommend using a nut driver on the finials to make sure everything is tight and secure. If you have doubts then please use a professional. Once installed, sit back, have a brew and have a good laugh trying to decipher the included assembly instructions.
