Under the Eagle

With great respect and honor this book chronicles the history and life of not only this one man but also the beliefs and traditions that strengthen and uphold the Navajo Nation and the United States of America. May we as a people never forget or disrespect where we came from. Our backgrounds may be different but together we make this nation strong.

Very well written historical account from the real life of one of the Code Talkers. Gives one a deeper respect for the great sacrifices made by those who served our country with honor.

A good Book, very well written and researched. I am a New Mexican by birth & love our history & our many cultures. Come visit & be amazed!!

Another good Dine history early round 1930s and up

Have not finished reading it but already know it is a bit of history that I never heard of before. The Navajo Indians served in a unique and spectacular way to aid in the victory of WWII. I am happy to have found this book.

Great book of Vet's that have been really over looked

Very interesting book. Just had the honor of meeting Mr. Holiday in March for "70th Iwo Jima Reunion of Honor". Nice gentleman.

I expected to enjoy this book much more than I did because of the ratings. I would say it was just "okay".
