The Big Book of Math for Minecrafters is as fun as it is educational. It's just what your little learner needs to get ahead academically! Review: Slick - My kid picked this up thinking they’d learn how to calculate the perfect amount of TNT for clearing a mountain. Instead, they’re now solving fractions like some kind of math wizard. Bonus points for sneaking in actual education under the guise of gaming. I might’ve even learned something while "helping" with the problems (don’t judge me). A solid block of fun and knowledge. Review: Math with fun - Very good product!!!! The kids love's it!!!

Child wants to do math.
Child not great at math but wants to do math in this book. It follows common core by using Minecraft characters instead of cubes. The book contains somethings child knows for a review and some stuff child hasn't started in school yet. Great book to keep up on math and get a head start during summer break!

Some of the same math problems are in the other books in this series
I want to give this book a 5 star and I want to give it a 3 star. I am torn. The first book I bought for my son was the Adding and Subtracting book and my son loves it! He needs the extra practice in math and this is the only math book I found that he will do more pages than I ask for him to do. Realizing he loves the book I searched to see what else there is for him to work through, since he will finish this book in less than two weeks. I purchased the Great big Book of Math in this series and the Great big Fun workbook for Minecrafters 1 &2 grades. To my disappointment all/most of the math problems are the same for Addition and Subtraction. Had I know that I would have only bought The Great Big Fun Workbook for Minecrafters 1&2 grade and The Great Big Fun Workbook for Minecrafters 3 & 4 grade, then I would have had all the math problems I believe. My son needs the practice, so I am not going to return them, at this point. But it’s frustrating to me that I spent the money on these different books and they have the same problems. If there was a note in the description I guess I missed it. I love the concept of these books, I love that my child enjoys them. I just wish each book had different problems in them. That is why I couldn’t give it a 5 star.

Meets the extacting standards of my minecraft-obsessed child
When these Minecraft-themed workbooks first came out, they had a pretty tenuous grasp on what exactly Minecraft was, or what sorts of things you may or may not find in a Minecraft world. They were the sort of thing someone might write after they had Minecraft explained to them for an afternoon. Thankfully, this book reads like something that was written by a person who has actually played Minecraft extensively, and ought to pass the muster of any kid that's quick to point out discrepancies in order to get out of having to do some subtraction.

WORTH IT!
Great Book. The book itself is a thick book with a whole range of math questions pertaining to Minecraft. It was a BIG hit for my 7 year old! I would recommend buying it!
