TRANSPLANTS

I bought this only for the song Diamonds And Guns because I love that song so I was hopeful the rest would be good. It’s been on a constant loop in my car CD player for over a week. I love it so much I’ll most likely be buying all Transplants music!

These songs made me laugh, dance, and sort of want to beat somebody up. (I won't). There were a couple filler songs (to me), but still ranks up there. With lyrics like, "guns drugs and booze, thats the life i choose" "You better hope you f******* miss me if you see me drinking whiskey" and " I say we line em all up and we gun em all down and we all celebrate when they all hit the ground" They are kind of hard to take serious, but you sort of do.

this cd is a sonic blast worthy of the clash or the ramones. they rant, rock, rap all the way through. no soft spots. it's the product of an honest, uncompromising, righteous artistic vision. and that's what makes great art. whether the artist is a crackpot, madman or prophet makes no difference. it's the strength of the vision that counts. this cd has plenty of strong vision. joe strummer would be proud.

Rancid front man Tim Armstrong on vocals, members from other well known punk groups a slight hip hop sound to it, what's not to love?

I'd wanted to pick up all their cd's in the past but never had the money and time work out. Well I got all 3 cd's and I will admit, I'm sad I waited this long.
