So this is really delicious and authentic tasting, it is super easy to make u just add the dry packet and miso paste in a bowl and add boiling water. There is a good amount of seaweed and onions etc in it. I included pictures of what it looks like to make, keep in mind the end result is 2 serving packets ( I was really hungry lol) so you get a total of 8 servings inside this one bag. Some people have been confused about how many you get. Very good price for 8 servings!

If you are looking for an easy, no fuss miso soup, I prefer the Marukome as it all comes in one packet and you don't need to mix in the paste separately. But this is authentic and tasty, just one extra step required with the paste.

Soup is good, but I needed to add a little more oomph to it. First, it has no noodles, so I added some. Then I really liked seaweed so I added a little more freeze dried and re-constituted "pacific wakame" to it. Then I noticed they use the Bonito Fish as their base in their liquid flavoring packet. I had some Bonito granules ( it's like chicken bullion) and added about a half teaspoon to the broth. I also added some cut up Silken Tofu- Firm style to it and turned a basic broth into a meal. Will I buy this product again...........yep. There are 8 packets of broth paste and 8 packets of greens inside the master package. Each packet is used with 2/3rds cup water. So If you're a hearty eater, you'll probably double it to make a decent bowl of soup.

This felt very nourishing as Miso soup should with a good amount of flavor and my favorite seaweed. Really filling, however ...?this miso soup made my feet swell up and worst yet, it had a cancer warning on the label I never saw when ordering. I didn’t take it seriously, but now I do.

I enjoy these soups. I prefer to use two packs at a time to make a bowl of soup. Flavor is good and price is still acceptable, even by 2 x packs per use. Great and low calorie compliment to dinner.

I bought this with rather low expectations but after trying it I'm pleasantly surprised. It's a simple, easy meal but still has complex and delicious flavor. I've found a new favorite soup and plan to buy this regularly from now on.
