This particular device has only one HDMI input.  Whatever monitors you have connected to the 2 HDMI outputs will display the same picture.  OREI makes a matrix switch/splitter with multiple HDMI inputs and outputs which sounds like it would probably be a better fit for what you're trying to achieve,

Ok please help, i want my av reciever to split signal to my 70 in 4 k tv and my projector so i can choose which screen i want to watch media on?

Due to Crazy situation, covid, I have 1 working directv DVR receiver in my bedrooms. I took the hdmi from receiver with 1 htmi Male to connect to TV on top of DVR receiver.

I put the directv output into the 1 input, and one very short hdmi output Cale in 1 for TV on top of DVR, and output 2 I put a 60 foot heavy hdmi cable output running across the floor, down my staircase across my living room and plugged into one of many TV HDMI Inputs on my new 55" Amazon Smart HDMI TV - have direct TV in both bedrooms & living room & and a long wide flat cable running through my house, temporally, so far over 4 months waiting for Directv to have a repairman available to schedule a repair to my broken living room directv DVR receiver.

It's not pretty but but works.

To control the directv DVR upstairs from my living room, I had already put the android directv remote app on my phone, and all my old broken devices that still have wifi ability. Always can FIND a direct rv remote in under 5 min max, often using FIND my phone app to fond the diveces in my home with the directv app but I can't FIND. I follow the sound in worst case lost remote situation - happens many many times every week LOL

From the initial product description in the title: "4K 1 x 2 HDMI Splitter by OREI, UltraHD 1 in 2 Out 2 Port >>>4K@60hz<<< 4:4:4 8-bit - HDMI 2.0, HDCP 2.2, 18 Gbps - Supports 3D - Duplicate/Mirror Screens". It look as though it only goes up to 4K@60Hz. There are Video/Audio splitters that I trust would be better. I need one for my TV4K since my AVR doesn't do 4K, but does all the 9.2 audio codecs. So "No".
