Frankly there is nothing not to like. This is the second pair of transparent cell protectors which I bought. The first were so great, so easy to fit and of course pretty cheap – and provided great protection for good quality leather sole shoes – that I decided by second pair and I've just fitted them. It is great that they are transparent so you don't have lumpy black pieces of rubber fitted onto your nice leather sole shoes. It protects the shoes and also makes the walking more comfortable and less noisy on the pavement. And very thoughtfully they supply a small tube of glue to run around the edges just to make sure that is completely sealed against the weather. The adhesion is great. If there is a slight overlap then it is a very soft material – easy to cut with a pair of scissors. A super product

Great protection

I recently purchased these anti-slip protectors for my leather-soled boots for the second time. I wear them during the winter months, where slippery surfaces can pose a real hazard. But with these protectors, slipping is no longer a worry. Once applied, they become transparent, seamlessly blending with the sole while providing reliable traction. Not only do they prevent slips, but they also extend the lifespan of your leather soles. I highly recommend them to anyone who wears leather-soled shoes, especially during winter. They're a game-changer!

This is a ZERO STAR RATING as the submit button doesn’t work unless you select at least one star. Placed onto dry new churches shoe soles. Three one hour walks in the dry and they were beginning to detach at the edges, then next day it rained and they came straight off. Photo taken on top of a railing. What a waste of money! The small bottle of adhesive that had been supplied with the order had cured to a lump of what looked like chewing gum, but was advised it wasn’t needed. Perhaps if it was available and liquid I might have gotten a different result who knows? I’ve found clear stick on sole that will cover the whole area in contact with floor and use polyurethane glue to ensure they stay on.

They wouldn’t even stick to the shoe, the glue thing they put with it didnt work either. The one I managed to put on slid straight off after 2 mins of walking. Not worth the money.

Easily applied after some slight trimming with scissors, just make sure your first application is correct as I don't know if trying to place the sole a second time would be a good idea. Used sealant provided to seal edges of product as suggested on packaging. Grip on carpet and shiny floor massively improved. Yet to be used in the real world as the shoes are for a specific event so can't comment on longevity.

Purchased Sole Adhesion kit for the first time even though I’ve had leather sole shoes for years. No scuff’s on the leather soles and most importantly very grippy due to the fact that leather soles can get slippery until worn in. The adhesion is absolutely brilliant stick to the leather sole’s with no problem and fitting them was an absolute breeze. £10 is a perfect price compared to brand new leather soles if you know what I mean. Worth every penny, I definitely recommend.

I like to buy expensive shoes. In rainy Denmark, I often struggle with shoes in leather soles, hence there are days I am thinking about what shoes to wear, because of the weather (potential rain). Other side being, I care for my shoes, and have them a long time, but after some years, they need to get resoled - and mostly it means either expensive leather soling, or a rubber / plastic sole. The latter takes some of the normal flex in the shoe away. Then I found this on Amazon - a thin sole which can be applied directly to the clean leather sole. It is thin and does not alter the characteristic of the sole (at least I do not notice). For you guys with leathersole shoes - i can highly recommend this product. It will protect your shoes, and cut your shoemaker bills to a minimum over time. ps. at the photos I have not removed the part of the sole, covering stitching, I will and you should too.

I finally found the perfect high-quality, transparent sole for my daughter's outdoor wedding. The bottoms were incredibly slick, and safe to make moves on the dance floor. The application process was surprisingly foolproof. I just peeled the backing and pressed them firmly onto the clean bottoms. They are so remarkably thin and clear that nobody could even tell they were there. Throughout the entire evening, from the grassy photo sessions to the polished wood of the reception hall, I felt completely secure and balanced. I danced for hours without a single worry about tumbling over in front of our guests. Knowing these elegant shoes are protected from rough concrete scrapes gives me such peace of mind. I will absolutely be adding these to all my favorite formal pairs!
