Great spatula, just the right size!
My main use for this is not for hamburgers, it's for pizzas, pizzas on a 12" inch pizza screen. The one I was using was too long. The spatula part is 4x8", very stable. Very convenient and safe to use.

A Professional Tool
Like any quality tool, this large spatula is beautiful in its utility, simplicity and design. The sturdy blade has three sharpened edges making it a snap to loosen bread loaves which sometimes stick after baking on baking or pizza stone. Similarly, it makes cleaning large surfaces (baking sheets, stove top griddles) easy. It's well balanced, and I expect it to last for years, if not decades of frequent use. That said, the blade is not flexible or of much use in skillets less than 9" in diameter. I haven't needed to sharpen it yet, but a whetstone should work as should my Lansky honing system.

Nearly perfect
A wonderful flipper but for one thing. The wooden grip (full tang handle!) was slightly rough in finish. So i sanded it with 150, 220 and 400 grit, then applied 5 or 6 layers of rub-on polyurethane. NOW it is five-star quality....but out of the box? Just four stars. I still recommend it.

Durable multipurpose spatula.
We have been using this spatula for close to 4 years and it is still going strong after a lot of use. I use it to smash, press and then scape by outdoor cooktop and it really is holding up well. The stainless steel cleans easily as well.

Not food grade stainless steel, but toxic 201 manganese steel.
This is NOT food grade 304 or 316 stainless steel. It is industrial manganese steel which is NOT officially safe for contact with food.
