Picked up a72" US General Series 2 top and bottom box at a steeply discounted rate at Harbor Freight as the new series 3 boxes were being released into inventory. As expected every drawer on the box squeaked, rattled or shimmied due to the fact of cost cutting methods employed by the manufacturer of these boxes. When built these boxes on had one rivet in the front of each drawer slide to cabinet connection. The rear of each slide was held in with a piece a clip style attachment that allowed the slides to move. These 1/8" stainless rivets fixed my issues and secured the backs of each drawer slides tightly to the the cabinet. Don't forget to buy a few extra correct size drill bits as you will break a few when doing this job.

Could not find this size Pop Rivets available in stores for my restoration project. Glad I was able to order them and at a good price.

These rivets work well in the Milwaukee M12 rivet gun.

I ran about 80 of these through the rivet gun this past weekend. No break-offs or other failures. Cycled flawlessly with only an occasional double-pull needed to set them home. Some residue on my fingers at days end from the manufacturing process but cleaned up easily. Very pleased.
