I've been using the Vidalia Chop Wizard Pro Max for a few weeks now and I'm absolutely loving it! It's such a time-saver and it makes chopping vegetables a breeze. I used to dread chopping onions, but now I don't even mind. The Chop Wizard makes it so easy to get evenly-chopped onions without any tears. I also love that the Chop Wizard is dishwasher safe. Cleaning it is so easy, and I don't have to worry about hand-washing it and getting the blades dirty. Overall, I highly recommend the Vidalia Chop Wizard Pro Max. It's a great product that makes chopping vegetables a lot easier. Pros: Easy to use Evenly chops vegetables Dishwasher safe Compact and easy to store Cons: None that I've found yet!

I reviewed all the choppers/slicers on Amazon and got this one because it included the silicone sheet that you pull off when done that makes cleaning a breeze. I had other similar choppers that were horrible to clean and so that was my main incentive for buying this one and it works great! It also chops well as long as you make sure the item doesn't overlap beyond the cutting surface. Mine aligns well and so I don't have plastic being cut off like another reviewer complained about. It is fun to use and I was looking for things to cut when I first used it. The small grid is good for garlic but not onions, but the larger grid works well for onions. The mushroom cutter slices them a bit thick for me but it is okay since it reduces my cutting time immensely. Excellent chopper at a good price so that if it ever wears out, it is still cheap enough to replace. Highly recommend.

I've had this for quite a while now and I use it a lot more than I expected to. My knife skills aren't the best, so this chopper saves me time and makes it easy for me to add chopped fresh veggies into a lot of recipes I wouldn't if all of the chopping was left up to me! It's sturdy and easy to use and clean.

I was excited about this new model because I have been using chop wizard for years, and I love them. They’re simple, make salad/almost anything you want to chop much faster. I bought the new model because they said it was bigger, and I thought that meant the grate would be bigger. It’s not. Just the holding capacity. I do prefer the new design...the cleaning pull off tab is great. The ability to dump without taking everything apart, also great. But I wanted a bigger grate...so I could chop against a larger surface area. Disappointed about that, and I think the company should specify that the grate is the same size as the former model, so we don’t all buy the new model expecting to be able to go even faster, due to larger chopping area.

I bought a similar off brand one of these last year on Amazon. It worked well, but before the end of the year the metal in the blade was breaking off. Fortunately I saw the piece of metal before it went on to someone's plate. Decided to spend the extra money and purchase the "original" chop wizard. It was well worth it. The quality of this product is substantially better than the off brand. It is sturdy and strong. I love the the silicone "plate" that sits in the top teeth and removes all the debris from the teeth for cleaning. So easy! I do a lot of canning and home cooking so this is used a lot - it has been getting a real workout. Seems like it will hold up for a long time. Should have just bought this one in the first place.

This is a terrific timesaver! The food processor cuts things up, or somebody cuts things today, but this little handy dandy tool cuts things just right! Makes for a fast, cool, bite-size salads, perfect for prepping stirfry veggies, and I love the ease in cleaning as well. I like the variety of sizes and cutting squares set make a huge difference. Can you get in the size you want. Much easier than another tool I tried. This one gets an A plus!

This is my 4th purchase of a similar implement, because I have worn them out! I use for salsa, soup, salads, etc., basically any dish needing uniform small dice. Some cooks may find too many parts (3) to wash/bother with, but this device has no equal for improving appearance and homogeneity. If a large batch is needed, it might also prevent repetitive stress injury or carpel tunnel syndrome (LOL)! With experience, I’ve learned to do the necessary prep beforehand. Pieces to be diced should be smaller than 2.5 inches square. Hard veggies, like potatoes, sweet potatoes, carrots, beets, etc., should be par-boiled before dicing. Firm cheeses, such as cheddar, Manchego, dry jack, Gruyére, and so forth should be sliced to a thickness equal to the width of one grate hole. Measurements marked on the transparent container come in handy. This newer design has an improved hinge, stronger and also easier to separate for emptying and cleaning.

I’m a bit confused by the negative reviews, unless some people received a defective product. When used properly, this thing is awesome and works perfectly. I have had no problems so far with breaking, cracking, or shedding plastic in my food. I am careful not too overload it with large pieces, and not to whack it too hard when chopping, but I have to wonder how much user error might play into some of the negative reviews. It’s also easier to clean with the removable grid in my opinion. Overall, it’s a solid product so far, and I use it often. Tomatoes chop well, but definitely not as well as firmer things like onions or bell peppers. I don’t blame that on the product, I just think thats the nature of tomatoes in general. Would recommend and purchase again, but will update my review if experience any issues.

I've had quite a few choppers and broken them all already. This one is the easiest to clean with the little mat thing going over the top lid squares. Also so far it beats the durability of all my previous ones.

This product is so easy to use and lessens the amount of time chopping vegetables. Very easy to clean also dishwasher safe.
