1) Assembly: Very easy to assemble. It comes with a manual (picture uploaded) and all parts and screws properly numbered, even comes with extra screws in case you lose any (picture uploaded). I put the Queen sized bed together all by myself and it took me a few hours (and I'm a short female who doesn't lift a lot of weight).- Recommendations: If you have an extra pair of helping hands it'll definitely be a lot faster and easier. If you do it yourself, unless you're great at lifting up and moving heavy items, I recommend you build the frame on its final location like I did if you have enough room (: otherwise it's probably very difficult to move on your own!2) Appearance and exterior material: Both the faux leather and the color make it look gorgeous and elegant. If you have a thicker mattress and you're worried about how your headboard will look, I have a Purple 3 mattress and I feel like I have sufficient headboard space after placing the mattress (picture 2 is of my headboard, so you can use this as a reference of how it'll look).- The material also feels nice to the touch and it's easy to wipe/clean. For oily smudges (caused by hand creams, lotions...), I recommend using dryer sheets... they work perfectly!3) Storage and drawers: it has tons of storage space in the drawers. The bottom/inner sides of the drawers are not made of the same material as the rest, instead it's like a thick clear plastic but the drawers are reinforced on the bottom/center and edges with a cross-shaped metal and rectangular bars respectively (picture 3 uploaded for reference). This makes them lightweight and easier to move in and out.- Although I haven't had any issues yet, I wouldn't necessarily put a lot of small heavy items on top of the plastic. They also come with a warning to avoid sharp objects (for obvious reasons). Last, when you're pulling the drawers or pushing them back in, they move to the sides a bit as there's nothing on the sides to align or lock them in place.. The way to secure them, prevent them from opening and keeping them in place is by inserting a screw/pin into a slot (I point at each one of them on two of my pictures, 3 and 4). After doing this, the drawers fit perfectly flush though (1 and 5 pictures show this too). Although the pin system works great, it's not as convenient depending on how you make your bed and etc.4) Sturdiness: apart from the drawers' inner material, the bed slats looked and felt a bit flimsy and this worried me a bit, especially after reading some reviews. But my mattress is quite heavy and I have slept on the bed for a few months and haven't had any issues at all.- Granted, I sleep alone (no pets), I'm on the shorter side (4'11") and I'm not overweight.Bottom line, I absolutely love this bed and so far I think it's great for the price. I hope my review helps you make an informed decision (: I'll update my review if anything changes.

Was initially skeptic after reading some of the negative reviews. However, the positive ones heavily over-weigh the negatives and hence decided to go for it. The 'Amazon Choice' label added to my confidence. Order was promptly delivered on time. Here are my takes:1) The entire package is quite heavy even for two people to carry. So, we had to open up the box and take it in parts.2) The assembly instructions were perfect ! ... right to the last screw! One word of advise, do not open up all the screws from the shrink wrap packaging, as each of the screw types have a different number and are labeled accordingly on the packaging board.3) Follow the instructions in the assembly manual step-by-step. Each of the parts are clearly labeled (A, B, C, D... etc.) and to someone who has a flair for assembling things, it's a breeze through! Very easy to follow. But if you are not so fond of assembling furniture/fixture, it might be confusing and overwhelming. For such people, my advise is to get it done by a professional or someone who loves doing it. I don't think this is something you start and leave it half way through... that would mess up the whole thing. So, start only if you are determined and confident to take it through till the end! It took me about 3-4 hours to unpack and assemble everything... but others might be able to do it fairly faster!4) The parts are sturdy from the inside and the finish is great from the outside.Overall, I think it's a great buy though it seems a little 'pricey' ! I look forward to enjoying my new bed.PS: My previous experience with a similar bed that I ordered through Wayfair was a disappointment. No doubt it was half the cost, but from day 1, I felt there was a design flaw - probably the reason why they discontinued that model!

We have been looking around for a good bed, we had a pretty old one and we needed a new one. we could not find anything that we liked. The wife ended up going to Amazon and found this, we ordered it and got it a day early. Here is what I have seen only been a few says and will update if needed.Shipping:Bed came in a box that I thought for sure was going to be missing items. I figured the bed was going to be at minimum two boxes. Just one, however in that box everything is made to fit perfectly and is protected. Great work by the company.Build:At first glance taking everything out of the box, you do not see how this is going to be. I did not think it was going to be good. everything is made out of compressed wood. (the norm) the headboard and end have a faux leather that feels good. Same thing with the four drawers. I can say that after the bed is built it feels real sturdy, does not move or feel cheap. I think the slats make the bed real sturdy the mattress helps with that too. (we have purple mattress)Do not be scared/alarmed when you take this out and feel like it is not sturdy once built you will see it is.Storage:This bed comes with 4 drawers placed on each side. Two and two, the build is not quite what I like, its made from plastic. This is why I took out two stars for sturdy. I think if these would be made of wood and made to attach with rails it would have made the bed feel crazy good. Not sure how well they will hold over time. I will be using mine for sox and undergarments. Not sure it can hold more than that.Ease of assembly:I saw a lot of reviews that stated the assembly and instructions are not great or bad. I felt like it was super easy to follow. If you can read and understand basic instructions then you will be fine. I did use my own L wrench. I have longer ones that are easier to use.Value for the money:Yeah for the money this is a great bed frame with drawers. So far it is doing its job hold me 195lb dude and 150lb lady. Both feel great and have noticed that we sleep better not sure if the slats are doing anything different. The quality is really good, the only downside mentioned above is the drawers, I wish they would be made of a different material.Dont hesitate to get the bed, I really thing that it is a value for what you are getting.

The return window ends today for this bed and I didn't want to write a review until I have slept on it for a considerable amount of time. With that being said it has a LOT of pieces...and I mean a LOT. Hubby and I are very experienced in building and putting things together and it took us about two hours. You have to put this bed together correctly in order to ensure you have a stable platform. We didn't have any issues with missing pieces or holes not lining up properly. I can honestly say it was a pretty smooth setup. It holds up well to our weight. We haven't had any issues with the slats breaking or things falling apart and my husband is around 260 lbs and I'm about 165. We really like this bed. We got the platform with the drawers and we just love it. We weren't too sure about the longevity of the frame based on some reviews but we haven't had any problems or issues and it's been over a month. Very pleased with this purchase.***Update: It is now June of 2020 so it's been over a year and my bed is still going strong. There are no rips in the fabric no cracks or breaks in my slats. Also no creaks or any noises when we move around. So I am still 100% satisfied with this purchase.***Second update: It is now July of 2021 and our bed is still perfectly fine. So over 2 years later bed is still five stars in my book. No creaks or squeaks, no breaks or cracks. This was and still is my most satisfying Amazon purchase.

I had been looking for a reasonably priced platform bed that offered under-bed storage. Thankfully, this was am even bigger surprise. The bed itself is well constructed and sturdy, plus the amount of storage you get is deceptively impressive.The assembly instructions state that two people are recommended to put it together, but it can easily be done solo **IF** you do one thing the instruction book fails to tell you. I’ll mention that in a few moments.Number one: you would be well served to have an open space in an adjacent room, to lay down the shipping box. At 140 lbs, it’s heavy. Place it upside down, then cut the edges of the packing tape with a pair of scissors (don’t use a utility knife - you risk waywardly slicing parts located in the box.)Once open, there’s a lot of styrofoam packed around the parts. Have a trash bag handy to discard the styro, as it can get messy if you’re not careful. Carefully stack and prop your parts and hardware in the area you will be placing the bed. You’ll want ample working room there, too.Follow the instructions TO THE LETTER. They’re easy to understand, and the illustrations and exploded views are spot-on... EXCEPT for the side rails that go from the headboard to the center support. Whether you’re assembling solo or with assistance of a second person, DO NOT fully attach the full length side rails to the center rail before attaching to the headboard. Attach the side rails to the headboard, with it (headboard) flat on the floor first, *then* attach the side rails to the center support, the bottom rails to the footboard, and *THEN* tighten all the screws.*On a side note, the only tool you have and need is included on the parts blister sheet: an everyday 10mm hex key (allen wrench). It really is *that* simple, from a tool standpoint.*Once you finish that single change to the instructions, everything else is 100% straightforward and foolproof.The under-bed storage is deceptively deep and quite large, with the four drawers nearly splitting the entire underside platform into quadrants, providing ample storage area. Also, my advice would be to use the drawers for nothing but cloth/clothing items (whether bed linens, socks, intimate wear, t-shirts, shorts, and the like.) Each drawer is listed at 40 pounds capacity, but I doubt that thoughtfully placed items will ever challenge those maximums.One thing I will check on, by reaching out to the manufacturer, then update once I get clarification, is the weight limits for the bed. The instructions mention a weight limit of 500 lbs, but fail to clarify if that takes the mattress weight into account. (I say that because my mattress weighs around 85-90 lbs, and I am 6’2” and 240).. once I have that, I’ll add it to the Q&A for the product.Overall, this is a well-constructed, sturdy bed for the money. I would absolutely recommend it, if you’re looking fir a stylish, space saving bedroom storage centerpiece. You won’t be disappointed.**EDIT/UPDATE**The 500 lb weight limit is a recommendation. Customer service said excluding the average mattress weight (100 lb) is reasonable, so long as care is taken not to lunge or jump onto the bed, as the slats beneath are still wood.

ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE!Product was previously returned and not thoroughly inspected before being resold, and contained defective parts. The person who returned it had assembled it incorrectly -making the bed impossible to finish putting together- I think realized this and returned it. I had to contact the manufacturer to get replacements parts. Since the manufacturer is based out of Canada, this could take ages. I now have a half-assembled bed and am currently sleeping on the floor. DO NOT BUY A RETURNED/REPACKAGED ITEM!!!!Update: the manufacturer shipped the replacement parts (which took about 2 weeks) but only shipped about 1/3 the quantity that I had requested.I then had to contact the manufacturer again to request the rest of the order. This took about another week give or take to wait for the rest of the parts that they neglected to send the first time.Upon unpacking the remainder of the bed to finish the original assembly, I discovered yet MORE damaged parts. 3 out of 4 of the drawer bottoms had punctured holes in the bottom, and one of the drawer fronts had a large defect on the front. So I emailed the manufacturer, yet again.The manufacturer tells me that the requested parts are unavailable, and may not be back in stock for FIVE WEEKS. You read that right.I have never been so infuriated over a purchase in my life. I honestly would have gotten more pleasure out of taking $400 cash and setting it on fire. No words to describe what a nightmare this has been! You have been warned.

I cannot say enough about this bed. The material is not cheap looking it actually looks like good quality and feels like it as well.. The drawers space are big. Super spacious, was easy to put together as long as you follow the instructions. It will take two or 2 1/2 hours with two people. I can’t believe the price I will upload pictures shortly.
