Analytical Chemistry for Technicians

This book is stuffed full of basic protocol and/or techniques for what seems like basically every basic technique you might encounter in an analytical chemistry lab. It also describes various principles, mathematics, and other concepts you might come across in relatively uncomplicated language. It also includes practice problems, which is excellent. There are also sections that I would almost categorize as "tips 'n tricks" to make your overall technique better, such as proper weighing or how to use various volumetric glassware.The thing that I appreciate most about this book is that it doesn't require particularly advanced knowledge to make use of the information (although a basic knowledge of chemistry and the subject you are looking up definitely helps a lot). It's practical and accessible, which is exactly what I want in a reference book for a situation where one doesn't really need to know enough details to deliver a thesis, but enough to get the job done. It's also very useful as a refresher--like a situation where "I know I've done this before, but that was x years ago".

Pretty great compared to what my school was charging ! Used , but looks band new.
