PEPPERLONELY 25 PC Nautica Lineata Sea Shells, 3/4 Inch ~ 1-1/2 Inch

The shells are very pretty, however they are smaller than I expected (although true to the advertised size, so it was my mistake). There are a few broken ones, but they were packaged with lots of bubble wrap. The shells are by nature very thin and delicate. I had bought them for my hermit crabs to change into, but they were too small and probably too light weight for them. Had to return. But again, they were very pretty.

Nice sized shells and very pretty. I put them all in my fishtank.

A couple off the small shells were broken, but they were smaller than what I needed. One shell was very thin and stick inside a larger shell. The rest were great though, overall recommend.

**BEWARE!** DEFINITELY NOT 1.5”-2.25”!! Unless these were grabbed out of the wrong box before shipping or they’re being measured using some bizarre method these ARE NOT the size they advertise. There were 20 shells 1.5” or under and only 2 @ 1.75” , the other 3 were somewhere in between. My frustrated hermit crabs tossed them all over the place and only one shell was acceptable, they really needed more shells over the 1.75” as advertised, we counted on you PEPPERLONELY. Now what do I do with 20+ useless small shells? Wait for baby hermit crabs? NO! They’ll just sit here and collect dust. THANKS. It’s just not worth my time to repack, drive to town, send back, wait another week or two to be refunded, I’m just going to buy from a reliably accurate dealer. Maybe PEPERLONELY should use a picture that photos these shells with a ruler, if they can’t read, then maybe the consumer can. People really count on accurate descriptions when buying online. Assuming shoppers will just return it easy n simple is just ignorant.

I really like the color but I’m disappointed by size. There were only a total of maybe 7 out of 3 packs (60+ shells) that are the size I need. If measuring the largest part of the opening only 2 were past 1.5inches. I’d rather get 10 larger shells than 25 small ones.

These snail shells are lovely. I'm using them for an art project and only two out of the twelve had any chips in them. (that's actually pretty good for such delicate shells). For my purposes all are usable and the right size. Sizing was exactly as advertised.

We purchased these shells for our shell dwelling fish. I wish I would have read the reviews first. These are tiny shells and will not work for the propose they were purchased for. Beautiful shells non the less. But don't think for one moment they are big enough for adult shell dwellers. Maybe the fry, but not the adults. The largest one is about an inch, measured from the top of the shell to the bottom. If you want a beautiful shell to fill in the gaps or just for décor these are the shells for you. Wish the description was a little more detailed about the opening of the shell. Again don't buy them if you want them for adult fish, but do buy them for the beautiful purple insides. Also our package did have some misc. shells and broken pieces in the bag.

I am a fish keeper and know very little about Hermit crabs. However I ended up catching one at the beach and decided to keep it as a pet. My hermit crab happens to be a marine hermit crab so it stays in the water and is pretty much like another fish. I don't know if hermit crabs have different preferences or how heavy they prefer their shells to be but these shells were incredibly light especially when compared to the shell my hermit crab was caught with. These shells won't sink in sea water unless you fill it's opening with water, that's how light they are. Luckily my hermit crab seems to have taken to these shells, and has completely abandoned his old one So i'm giving the shells 5 stars. They were also pretty clean and varied a lot in size so that was a plus too
