Nice, well-built product, sturdy and lovely. I was a little skeptical of the plastic fabric holders, but they are working well and easy to adjust. Holds the fabric tight and straight without stretching or distorting grain. Like anything new, took a little adjusting to get it right, but it was overall easy, and haven't had to adjust either of 2 projects once set (unlike hoops, which in my experience require almost constant readjustment). Perfect size and shape for lap work. I don't think I'll ever use a hoop again. Only small quibble is that sometimes I get thread momentarily stuck in the lock-ring space between the knob and the frame but the knobs are *so* much nicer than the wingnuts some brands use that snag on everything. But I'm finishing projects rather than setting them aside because I was tired of wrestling with hoops. Love it!

I’m so glad I looked at all the different frames and settled on this one. The size is perfect. The frame was easy to put together and to use. The knobs are great for anyone who might have issues with arthritis or hand weakness. And it holds my canvas with a nice tension. It’s so much easier to stitch with this frame over a hoop. Totally solved my “holding“ hand/wrist pain issues.

Not sure about the negative reviews on this, this frame works amazingly well for larger cross stitch projects and I found it incredibly easy to put together and use. I was making a Christmas stocking for my daughter and was continuously fed up with with round embroidery hoops that popped off constantly. My mother-in-law was working on a cross stitch project on a similar frame to this that she’s had since the 80’s and I immediately wanted to find something similar. When working with a larger Aida fabric size, this frame is great because it keeps the entire piece attached to the frame and you just have to loosen the knobs to move it to the area you’re currently working on (great for Christmas stockings!). The round embroidery hoops would cause the Aida to get distorted (as can be seen somewhat in the photo before I discovered this frame), but because the Aida gets snapped into this frame at the top & bottom, it stays taut and is much easier to stitch. The only slight negatives is that the wooden frame is slightly heavy after sitting and stitching for extended periods of time, and when you don’t have a lot of extra Aida at the top or bottom (like with the Christmas stocking kit, as they provide the bare minimum amount of fabric), it gets a little harder to stitch close to the bars. The frame itself is super sturdy, and while the package was in Russian (!) it was easy and intuitive to figure out how to put it together. I will likely order one for smaller projects as well because this is so much easier and sturdier than the flimsy round embroidery hoops for actually stitching!

This frame seems very sturdy and much higher quality than other scroll frames I used previously. Ordered 11.8”x15.7” so that it could fit in my project bag, only to open the package and find that it is actually about 19”x13”, when measured the same way as shown in the product image. Not sure if they accidentally sent me the wrong item but the box also indicated a much smaller size than what it actually contained. Ended up re-ordering the 9.8”x12.5”, so hopefully it’s at least smaller than this or is the actual measurement described.

This is a great Scroll Frame! I have tried Q-snaps, hoops and other things for large project but this is by far the easiest to handle for my hands. The frame holds the cloth taught and smooth and rolls well without pulling creasing. The ability to see the project in large part or full is amazing as well as scroll with minimal effort was great. I have little issue moving the cloth and for my hands that is a #1 priority. It is sturdy once put together but takes apart to pieces easy to travel. I did find that I purchased a smaller fixed width than I needed for some of my larger projects, but the cost of this item was very reasonable, so I will be buying more when I move on to those! (I am not sure if it is possible to do this, but the company that can construct a wood extendable sturdy frame like this would be the best!)

Great quality, reasonable price and very effective. Frames make doing needle work of any size so much easier.

Goes together easy, clips hold it together and no splinters

This is a great frame for cross stitch. The fabric is held tightly with an even tension. I haven’t used it for embroidery, but I’m sure it will work just as well. The frame is smooth and very sturdy. It’s also very easy to assemble and I love that it’s adjustable to the size fabric you’re using. Definitely recommend.

I've been cross stitching for over 30 years and over time all the stores I relied upon for my stitchery items have closed. So I ordered this item based on the reviews and am very pleased with it. It is very easy to use and keeps my cloth nice and tight. It is very sturdy and feels like it will last me forever. I would recommend this product highly.

Very simple and does what it says it does.

I loooooove this frame so much. I use it everyday for this huge cross stitch project and it is just wonderful. I also bought one for my daughter, who loves it as much as I do. A game changer from the flimsy round ones. You won't regret it!

Loved the product - the brown coloured wool is missing but they substituted a pink which does not work.

It’s useful for what it does, sometimes the clips come off and the screws come loose whilst in use, could be improved but does what it sais for cross stitch.
