One works good the other one is being replaced
.They work perfect and heated my outside pond fast. One has moisture inside the glass after 2 days but doesnt appear to be a problem . i will watch it. I will be ordering 2 more for my other 3 ponds. I have 5 total and the water cirulates between them. Update one has filled with watter and no longer works i will see how good their warranty is. Update they are replacing the defective one . I am happy

Dangerous and damaged
I went through 4 of these in less than 1 year. They all stopped working. I used one at a time in a 75 gallon fresh water tank. Three just stopped heating all together at random and one heated the tank to over 90 degrees out of the blue when it was set to 78 as it had always been. I tried it several times and every time it got so hot it glowed orange and would never turn off. I tested each one of these multiple times and all failed. These are not only poorly made products, but IMO dangerous in the case of them not turning off. Luckily I did not loose any aquarium inhabitants. Lineba did refund me for the one of the defective sets of heaters. Overall very dissapointing and dangerous. I will stick with Fluval and other name brand heaters going forward.

Customer service is awesome.
I’m going to give them 4 stars, and that’s because their customer service is definitely 5 star material, however I ordered two heaters, the first two that came we’re defective, the one wouldn’t heat up, the other one had a broken temperature knob and I couldn’t turn it down, it heated my tank to over 90 degrees, I contacted customer service, they sent me two new one free of charge and even paid shipping, when I received the two new ones, one of them works fine, but the other one also has a busted temperature control knob and no way to adjust the temp, at least I have one good one out of 4, but like I said, the customer service is amazing, and the price of the heaters is very reasonable.. I guess you get what you pay for.

Be careful when handling--the black guard is not secured onto the heater.
When I removed the product from the form-fitted foam, I had one hand on each end. To my surprise, the whole black cover promptly slid off the end, causing the exposed glass end to dip six inches to the table and shatter. So much for that one. The second one prominently says "100% explosion proof," which I found humorous right after having cleaned up the glass from the first one. It appears there are notches on either side to hold the plastic guard in place, but the notch on my first one was broken. It might not have made any difference, though--the notches on the second one don't line up with the matching tabs, so they can't hold the guard on. I placed the non-broken one in the water and plugged it in through a Kill A Watt meter. After a moment, it came on with a red reading of the water temperature and started drawing 415-420 watts. The temperature of the water was accurate to within 5 degrees F, which is the most I usually expect from these things, but the power draw was quite a bit lower than I hoped for from a 500 watt heater. For reference, the tank next to this one has a "250 watt" heater that draws 258 watts. So, if you're looking for a 415 watt heater and are careful with the slipping cover, this might work for you. We'll see how long it lasts. One star off for poor construction, two stars off for not delivering the heating power I payed for. Gold stars for you if you're more careful with unpackaging than I.
