Works extremely well. I used this to prevent rattling between my exhaust and a skid plate very close to it under my Forester. It has been installed for a couple of months now, and the rattle is gone

Just what it looks like came out great didnt even have to take my pipes off my bike watch out for the fiberglass particles try not to rub edges on anything and u should be good ware rubber or vinyl gloves hope this helps be sure soak in water before install good product color shines

Repurposed this product - from automotive to kitchen. Wanted a barrier to prevent grease and crumbs from slipping between 2 stoves and cabinets. Was not impressed by silicone strips (temp rating and not too attractive) and didn't have tools to custom cut stainless steel. This basalt cloth tape was easy to cut and work with, solved the issue. Plus, look at the temperature rating - you can have that cast iron pan at 600-700 degrees to sear a steak and not worry about this melting. Using mild soap and water soak to clean. It will unravel if you’re not careful but otherwise a good solution.

The black color disappeared after 2 heat cycles and went to white. The straps ripped from the wind on my bike. The stainless straps broke quickly and fell off. Had to completely re do all of it 2 times now as I bought 4 rolls of this. Don't waste your money...buy name brand on this stuff.

I used this for a leaky catalytic converter. Not leaking any more. Instalation was simple with medal zip ties. Very durable functions well

This fixed my exhaust leak. And helped my 1993 Ford F150 pass its last inspection. It did what I needed to do At a decent price. What else can you ask for!
