Wireless Door Bell, CW-21 Mini Waterproof Wireless Doorbell Operating at Over 1000 Feet, 2 Remote Buttons Can Have Different Tones, 52 Melodies, CD Quality Sound and LED Flash

I did a lot of research before selecting this doorbell. It is very easy to install and the 2 ringers are exactly what I needed to replace an old 13 year old doorbell. My problem was that my house is one story, but 80 feet long. When I am in the back office I usually cannot hear the front doorbell. So I placed one near the front of the house where my bedroom is, and one in the middle that covers the back of the house. About 50 feet into my house, with the signal only having to go through one drywall. I finally settled on level 3 of the 1 - 5 level ringers. Level 3 is loud enough. This doorbell solved the 2 most frequent criticisms mentioned in many of the reviews of various doorbells that I read. [1] The size of the "mini" ringers has been reduced so that when you plug it into a 2 socket plug it doesn't also cover the 2nd plug. And [2] The sound level and ring tone one chooses stays set if the power goes out or if you move the ringer to another location. That is, you don't have to go through from scratch the 50+ bell tones to reset it to the one you want if the power goes out. This also makes it easy to program these ringers. I plugged them into a plug over my kitchen shelf to choose the sound level and ring tone from a comfortable standing position, and then unplugged it and plugged it into a plug near the floor where I wanted it. The settings stayed set. Using the two-sided sticky tape was more than strong enough to install the push button outside next to my door. The screws are unnecessary. The only complaint I have is when you open up the doorbell push button to pull out the plastic separation tab to enable the battery to make contact to enable the doorbell to work. The battery cover was very tight and it was difficult to pull out the plastic tab. I hope in a couple of years when I change the battery that I can get the battery cover easily removed. A little less tightness would be an important improvement. I could also live happily with only 4 or 5 choices of ring tones instead of the 50+ that I can't imagine anyone choosing. Overall, I think they have solved the most common complaints of other doorbells, and this is now the best doorbell out there.

Greatest product ever and super easy to install! And a bunch of tones to choose from. I love it that it has silent mode so it won’t wake my baby when she’s sleeping. Highly recommend!

I used this to replace an older wireless doorbell. Main reasons for replacing the older unit were that it was not really loud enough, and had only one chime unit. The new one I ordered came with two chime units. I plugged in one of the chime units high on a balconyl above some picture frames, and followed the instructions to enable the battery on the doorbell button. When I pressed the button, I immediately heard the traditional "ding-dong" sound from the chime at a perfect volume level. I may experiment with other sounds, but this is the one I am used to. Later I moved this receiver to a Bluetti EP500 in the kitchen which keeps my refrigerator running during power outages (in the picture, the chime is hidden behind an orange extension cord). I then plugged in the second chime in the basement, where it is hard to hear the first one. It also responded to the doorbell without needing any further adjustment. The only slight inconvenience was that button did not have pre-drilled holes for mounting, and I preferred to mount it with screws. But that was easily solved with an electric drill. Although that could be a drawback, I don't consider it serious enough to affect the overall rating since an adhesive mounting is also provided. To enable the doorbell to work during a power outage, I plugged one of the receivers into a Bluetti EP500 which also powers my refrigerator. In the picture, it is partly hidden behind an orange extension cord.

2021-04-01: After some use I had to bump up my review to 4 stars. Even though I was a little annoyed with the setup it's working rock solid and people really like the rooster and bell sound when they ring. Great price for something that is well made and looks expensive. ======================= To be fair, I actually do really like a lot about this unit -- it looks high tech and expensive & has a good doorbell button, cool little LCD light when you press it, the 2 different sounds based on transmitter, nice loud volume controlled CD quality sound it makes and probably some other nice things I already forgot because they're really not that important to me. Also, it's pretty inexpensive but does everything I want and I know I don't need any super expensive Ring setup that makes video, works from my cellphone, and does all of super power extra terrestrial things I don't need or want to spend 2 days of my life setting up and playing around with & will crash and break way too often since it has so much of this stuff. So, why am I dinging this thing with this 1 star review that I almost never give anything I get here? Well, I'm really frustrated and maybe my expectations are too high but I honestly don't think so. I have wasted a good 22+ minutes or so of my life clowning around with thing that apparently is supposed to be so easy to set up that even an average 5 year old can do it. I'm already writing too much & it's probably not worth anyone's time for me to go into some long specific details & take pictures of it or something BUT... The directions are unnecessarily confusing especially with the red/green light pairing alternating specific transmitter melody selection thingy AND I'm pretty certain that if some kind of human being from their company actually sat down for a little while and read and tested their instructions & maybe even had one of those volunteer group usability sessions that they easily and cheaply do that they WOULD be able to fix this issue and make even more of their customers happy. Most importantly, if you happen to be someone as mentally deficient as I am and can't immediately set this thing up quickly, don't get frustrated like I did, take a deep breath, take your time & read the one page directions a few more times slowly and you'll still probably end up setting the thing up the way you want eventually. Don't get impatient when you have to sequentially listen to 48 of the 52 melodies to get to the one you like. Nope, there is no little list that gives any numbered title, description of what these tunes are OR easy way to just simply select the one you want without going thru all of them either. Incredible sound in terms of quality and decibel. The highest volume can probably be heard from the moon, so if you're hard of hearing or work in a barn a mile away, you'll STILL hear this doorbell on the highest setting. I'm being hyperbolic but only 90%. So many songs and alerts to choose from, it's daunting but fun. Every time I thought I had chosen one I'd click a few more just to hear a few more options then I'd have a new favorite. Some of the sounds are hilariously distinct and something I'd never actually want to use as a doorbell but I'm also half inspired to use the ridiculous ones simply for that reason. Easy to put into place, easy to figure out, aesthetically pleasing, and did I mention it's loud enough to be heard during a demolition derby? It probably is. I got two doorbells so I'm splitting my sounds up - one normal doorbell with a pretty song (I'll probably go with Fur Elise) at one of the lower volumes and then a secret doorbell near the real one but out of sight a bit for people I KNOW and LIKE to ring, that way I'll always know whether it's someone I want to see or someone I wasn't expecting. The friend-doorbell sends a rooster crow sound through the whole neighborhood when it goes off. I laugh everytime.

Easy to install and does what it is supposed to do. Now we just need our visitors to learn to press the button.

Wow! I love it. Received it today and installed it right away. It's very easy to install, and setup. Instructions are clear and simple. I like the variety of sounds. Wish there was an easier way of selecting tone instead of having to skip and hear each one. Some of them are obnoxious in my opinion, I mean who wants a pig oinking?? But anyways, the reason I chose this over other wireless doorbells is pretty much because description stated that each doorbell could be set to a different tone. I'm using one for the front door and one for the back. I used the adhesive that comes with, to start. I don't know how long it'll hold but before drilling and making holes I want to make sure that it'll work fine and that the spot for it is right. Honestly I recommend. My house isn't too big, but sometimes while watching tv we can't hear people knocking at the door so this will be a little extra help. Like I said, setup and installation was super quick and easy. It offers 52 tones, some of them are nice melodies some are animals and wacky sounds. I like that I can distinguish which door people are calling from . Adjustable volume and tone can be switched very easy also. It was a good price, I just hope it lasts.

Our doorbell stopped working and this was a great and easy way to replace that. Has several different sound options. Great value for the money and would definitely recommed it.

I love this doorbell!!! I did a lot of research and there are a lot of doorbells out there that you can plug in but all of the others will take up both outlets (at least this was the only one I found with 1 transmitter and 2 receivers). It is more expensive but worth it to me since I can use the other outlet (since I have 2 receivers would mean I would have lost 2 power outlets completely). This model comes with 2 receivers - I have one on each floor and I can finally hear the doorbell when I am upstairs. Was very easy to pair the receivers and transmitter - I was concerned about that but not an issue at all. The tone I have chose is loud enough. I like the fact that you can switch the sound off completely if you need to (has a few loudness options). Cons: The only con I would say is that it says it comes with 52 chimes, but there are only a couple that I consider actual doorbell sounds. I takes quite a bit of time to find a decent tone and I had to do that for both receivers. However that was a minor con since there are so many pros.

Expensive item compared to many others in its category. The good finishing, the claims of the features and their quality prompted me to buy it. Within a few days, stopped ringing twice. Opening of the frame and gentle tapping on interior parts started ringing both the times. If its going to malfunction again, shall try to return the item. Thanks.. 2-12-2024: It continues to be defective. I decided to return it. Please do the needful.

We've been using this doorbell for about four years now, and it's been a reliable part of our house throughout its tenure. While it does have a bit of an excessive catalogue of possible sounds to choose from for each bell, it does help to identify which bell is being rung when people are just as likely to try the back door upstairs as they are to try the front door downstairs. The noise maker itself is located about halfway across the house from both doors, and is plugged in about halfway between floors on the stairwell. With that layout, both bells are in range and it can be heard clearly from either floor. The doorbells themselves have remained fixed in place through blizzards, heat waves, torrential rain, the occasional hurricane and one wasp nest, with no problems whatsoever thus far. Come to think of it, we've never had to replace the batteries in either doorbell, either. Maybe one of them will run out of juice one day, but it hasn't in the last four years. In all, I'm very satisfied with the purchase, and if someone ever runs off with it I'll be sure to get another just like it.

I should have bought this a long time ago. Works great, I have one on the door and one where my dad sleeps. The sound is super clear and you can connect it anywheres in the house. A ton of different chimes, perfect volume and so easy to set up.
