For best taste and product life, dates should not be pitted. That would be like buying peeled grapes.

How long do they last? Shelf life?

We eat them quickly, so the shelf life in our home is not long. They were dry and frankly quite miserable on arrival. As I said in my first rating, the first bag we received was fine, but either they do not have good quality control or something as the second bag was, frankly not fit to eat.

The word 'Organic' does not appear on the package.
