SlingShirt - The Magnetic Shoulder Surgery Shirt Designed for People Wearing a Sling

I just had major collarbone surgery and this shirt is excellent. The shirt is comfortable and has improved my post surgery time significantly. I saw other shirts that attached with velcro and just don't think that can possibly be comfortable. Also its made to "vent" when wearing a sling which is a huge plus. Without question, I would buy this shirt again if I'm ever having surgery like that again. It does have some room for improvement---the magnets don't really keep the shirt entirely together all day while wearing, nothing a couple safety pins doesn't solve- but it's worth noting.

This shirt fits and functions perfectly for use after shoulder surgery. I bought several shirts from different manufacturers when searching for post-surgery options. This was the best of all of them. Will definitely be ordering more.

Really great idea, great shirt. Trying to put on any top, even button up tops, over a newly fractured shoulder was very painful. This shirt was a real lifesaver. Suggest you buy the shirt big enough so the magnets will stay together properly while moving around. We had a medium for a 5'9 108# female which worked fine. This may be a rare occurrence, but one time we washed the shirt in our top loading machine, the magnets caused the shirt to get stuck under the agitator.

Ran a bit small, although a good idea, found it to be difficult to hook up, magnets came undone, material pilled after two washes in cold water on gentle cycle.

This shirt is a must have for anyone that has undergone rotator cuff surgery, or any shoulder procedure. I did not want anything with snaps or zippers, and by chance, found this on a search. For me, the shirt is true to size and was incredibly comfortable. I highly recommend! This shirts easier to put on than trying to brush my teeth with my non-dominant hand.

If you are an athletic male not concerned at all about skin showing, you're fine. There simply are not enough magnets close enough together for this shirt to provide any amount of modesty for a woman with any breasts at all. This shirt had promise of being the best one of 3 I ordered, but I only wore it once and I my sister kept chasing after me to try to adjust the shirt so the gaps between magnets would not leave me so exposed to my visitors. It needs twice as many magnets to make sure there are no gaping holes, sides and sleeve. A total waste of money if you're a woman. EDITED 10-6. I will add that the CEO of the company has amazing customer service skills. After my negative review was initially posted she reached out, refunded my money in full and reimbursed me shipping costs. She says the product was originally designed for women. She thinks I ordered a size too large, but I continue to disagree. There simply are not enough magnets. There needs to be 2x as many, spaced closer together. At the same time I ordered this I ordered another type with snaps. That one certainly took care of the "gap" issues but I found a few of the snaps hard to manage with just one hand. That's where the magnet concept is much better.

Purchased several of these shirts for my partner who had shoulder surgery in winter. We found the general fit to be ok, but bizarrely there are only closures on the top of the shoulder, nothing to close the sleeve around the arm on the underside, so it was wide open and my partner found it cold/drafty and uncomfortable to the degree that after wearing it once he preferred to go though the physical pain of putting a regular t shirt on instead. He also found that the magnetic closures on the side would open as he moved, if his orthopedic sling put any pressure on the shirt (which of course it is going to). So while we thought this would be an improvement over the adaptive shirts with snaps, it really wasn't. Regretfully, I missed the return window for these while being busy and distracted by caretaking, so this was just an expensive mistake - but here's my review so you don't have to learn the same way.

The detail was amazing, however, the shirt was just not going to work out for me, I'm way to broad across the back and breast area. I ordered an XL but I needed the material to be more wide than long. Upon opening the package a bright pink label is the opening saying....Exchanges are Easy. Call Us. I called and got to a voice mail by "Mary" and she said she would return my call asap and that I could write an email to her personally. I started writing the email to ensure they received my message and I didn't even have the email finished and Mary called me! She apologized that the sling/shirt didn't fit and we chatted a little about the shirt fit, etc. and then she wished me well on my upcoming operation. In today's world who does that? I told her I thought the idea was fabulous and she told me not to bother to return the shirt, that she would issue an immediate credit. I sitting here absolutely stunned. This by far was the best customer experience in years.....Here is a company that is working hard to please their customers. Roberta Licker
