This coffee tastes like regret. It’s acidic, even with the mct and butter AND heavy creamer. Remember way back in the days when there was a smidge of coffee left in the pot but someone forgot to turn the warmer off so it’d been cooking all morning and afternoon but you were desperate for a hit of caffeine and drank it anyways? That’s the taste it’s reminiscent of. Ugh. Horrible. As an added insult it’s torn my stomach up today and yesterday. I wasn’t sure it was to blame for yesterday’s troubles, so tried doctoring it up with an added shot of heavy whipping cream (on top of the MCT oil and butter) to see if it would make it more palatable but not only did that not help whatsoever but it still made my stomach ache. It’s 5:42 pm right now, I had this earlier in the morning and my gut is still paying the price for my folly. Aaaaaand to top it all off, it’s not returnable. So in case you’ve missed that bit of info like I did, now you know.

I love a good French dark roast and smoooth and tasty is hard to find in a K-cup pod, but the Bulletproof French Kick hits all the marks. A little pricey, but I'd rather spend a little more on something that I really like when it comes stuff to enjoy.

Been enjoying these kpods since getting my mini Keurig for Christmas. The last 2 boxes of k-pods have given me issues with clogging my machine so it won't drip the water, often stopping mid brew. I also am now getting tons of grounds in my coffee. It seems like the grind is too fine and the pod is filled too full. Bulletproof has allowed me to enjoy coffee again, but it seems they have some quality control issues on these k-pods which are very expensive to have to go through 2-3 pods for 1 cup of coffee (plus unlogging my machine mid brew). I can grind the beans and fill a refillable pod without issue, so the problem is clearly with the more recent batches of these k-pods. Hopefully Bulletproof can work out this quality control issue so the convenience of the k-pod can once again be worth the expense.
