CURT 18211 Cargo Bag, Black Vinyl, 56-Inch x 22-Inch x 21-Inch

I’ve used this on some long hot and wet trips from GA to Miami and it is great. The quality is fantastic and tough. The zippers are the strongest I’ve seen. Works perfectly with my Curt rear basket.

Have had this bag for 9 years now and made several trips from Texas to many states almost every year never had any moisture issues when zipped and closed well. No rips and how showing any signs of wear. Straps are holding up also, but need cleaning. Driven through several rainstorms and no wet luggage or items inside! Would buy again.

Very happy with this purchase! combined this cargo carrier with the anti-rattle tow hitch and worked perfectly. The 5 hour ride was super quiet, no rattle sounds, no loose straps banging on the car or flapping in the wind, it was wonderful. I found the straps to be very strong and steady, despite some of the reviews I read. I have NO issue at all with the straps and was hauling 2 very large suitcases, back packs, and other items on the cargo carrier. In fact, after reading reviews of this product, I purchased the ratchet style straps to use, but had no need for them at all. Great product!

Curt makes a nice and affordable cargo bag. Recently used this cargo bag on a trailer hitch mounted cargo carrier. Went a total of 3000 miles through the mountain snows and plains rains and kept 99.9% of the moisture out. I am very happy with this purchase. Very simple to use. I would caution also like I had read in the reviews, in the more frigid cold weather, the material is stiffer and you should work the zipper at the corners with attention and not force it. Straighten it out and it will zip. Highly recommend this Curt cargo bag and would purchase again.

After a trip from NC to Chicago and back the bag worked as promised. Kept the contents dry though several heavy downpours. My only complaint and the reason for 4 stars rather than 5 is there is no way to “lock” the bag to the carrier. The 6 tie down straps worked flawlessly and I used a luggage lock to secure the zipper closed, but there is not an easy way to secure the entire bag to the carrier. Nothing is keeping someone from just undoing the straps,which are quit easy to release (pro & con), and taking the bag off. Adding a loop that a cable lock could go through would make this great. I guess if you put enough stuff in the bag to make it too heavy to move to you don’t have to worry too much, but we only needed room the room for a double stroller and a couple smaller bags. Two people could easily have moved it to another car and been gone. I don’t want to have to worry about that while the family stops at a restaurant or whatever and the car is sitting out of site for a while. I did notice some slight cracking in the vinyl in the bottom of the bag after we returned home, so we’ll see how it holds up after more uses.

So far, no leaks. The quality seems secure, heavy duty and waterproof. It does not feel cheap. This was the perfect size so we could pack more people instead of gear. Of course, we bought the cargo holder too not just the case

I LOVE my curt bag. It has helped me tremendously in storing items in my new basket. The material holds up well and is thick and strong. I did not use the straps provided and just bungeed the bag to the basket we bought and this works perfectly.

This thing is a brute! Very thick, well made material that is tightly sealed off from the weather. I use one on my Curt rear carrier and it has not let me down. The zippers are also sealed and of great quality. Recommended.

we used it once for a two day trip, we needed to access it a lot of times. zippers are strong and the material is thick, I believe it to be durable. it rained a lot and as expected, no water went inside.

I have to say its quality is great, but I was surprised that it doesn’t fit exactly into Curt Hitch Cargo Carrier! I would return it but my bad I relied in Curt great reputation and didn’t check once it arrived. I got to use it and travel.
