These adam 't7v' are bi-amplified 2-way studio monitors designed for vertical use in nearfield applications. They feature a 7" woofer that provides a bass extension up to 39Hz, while the U-art tweeter diaphragm delivers a high frequency response and extended to 25kHz, which is not found in other monitors in this price range. The tweeter in question is ed on a precision waveform guide, with the same dispersion control characteristics as that of the high frequency propagation HPS also used in the ship monitor studio of the 'series s' of this brand. The highly uniform dispersion of the high frequencies of the waveform guide provides an incredibly wide sweet spot that frees you from being glued to a position of the mix while working. In the rest of the bevelled cabinet a bass reflex rear-porting port joins a sturdy metal plate that houses the analog input connections. The u-art tweeter is powered by a 20-watt class d amplifier, while a 50-watt class d amplifier serves the woofer. A cup of these powerhouses produce an impressive maximum spl of 110dB, plus the wide frequency response, high dynamic range, excellent transient response, large sweet spot and small fingerprints make this monitor ideal for use in small control rooms or for video post-production and broadcast production.
