Helped Our Bunny After GI Stasis and Antibiotics
Our 10-year-old bunny developed GI stasis during a 14-day course of antibiotics. It was a tough situation, and we knew how important it was to help his gut recover by restoring healthy microbes. We started using PetAg Bene-Bac Plus Powder, and it’s made a real difference. We gave the probiotic at least 2 hours after the antibiotic doses to avoid any interference. Once the antibiotics ended, we continued using the probiotic daily and long-term, not just for a few days. It’s been part of his routine since then to keep his digestion stable. He’s more active now, eating eagerly, and even doing happy binkies again. We also support him with fresh herbs and sprinkle dried echinacea on his veggies—the probiotic powder mixes in easily and he takes it without fuss. Highly recommend this for rabbits recovering from antibiotics or GI stasis. It gave us peace of mind and really helped our bunny bounce back.

Magic poop dust for my dogs
This stuff is magic for my dogs. If I see any loose poops, which isn't very often but if I do and I give them some of this... poof it's gone and they are right back to normal. I always have a bottle of this in the fridge for the dogs.

Great Product!
I just received this product in today's mail. However, in this case I can review it because I have used it previously. I just ran out and this is a reorder. I keep this on hand as I raise Labrador Retrievers. Pets really get themselves into trouble as well as have vomiting/diarrhea episodes sometimes. In every case this product has helped completely get them back on track with their tummies.

Biotics: The Pre- and Pro-
I bought this Bene-Bac Plus about 6 months ago for my bunny named Luna. To start off with, I am a big pre/probiotic advocate for furry friends and humans. They are great at keeping the flora in the gut in check (which is especially important in bunnies to prevent GI stasis). I do recommend giving this in small quantities at first as stated on the back of the package, just to get their little bunny tummies used to it. I give this to Luna every day or really just whenever she runs out. I did try to sprinkle it on her vegetables at first, but in reality it made a huge mess and I wasn't sure how much product she was actually getting. So I resorted to mixing a teaspoon of the Bene-Bac Plus (my rabbit friend is about 6.5 pounds) with hot/warm water (the warmer water helps dissolve it quicker and more evenly) in her bowl which holds about 3.5 cups and roughly 0.25-0.5 tablespoon (I just do a splash so it could be more or less) of 100% apple juice with no added sugar, give it a quick stir and put it in her room. She will drink it all within 1-3 days because she loves the stuff. I only put the apple juice in it (I know it's not great) because she had some bladder sludge before she started this regimen because she hated the peasant tap water I was giving her. I would definitely recommend to try it without the juice first because Bene-Bac Plus does have some natural sweetness to see if your furry friend can palate it. My Luna will drink it without the juice, she just prefers it with the sinful apple concoction and she drinks it up quick and without a fight, so I'm going to leave it as is. Her bladder sludge is also gone (probably attributed to the excess fluids she's ingesting, but I'll take it!) She also runs and binkies all the time which she didn't do as often before this regimen. Soo, in conclusion I would get this product (I've already bought 2 so I don't run out) and this may work for other furry friends that aren't bunnies I just can only speak about my Luna-tic. As with anything that is newly introduced to our loved ones, take caution and know the warning signs for serious issues (maybe introduce it on a weekend or a time where you can be with them for at least 24 hours). Sorry, long review! But I hope it helps any future buyers!

Well, something's working.
I have a senior cat (somewhere over 16) who was losing weight, vomiting and had terrible diarrhea. After extensive vet testing, the best they could come up with was probably IBD and good luck with that. He was too old and thin to safely biopsy. So I started researching and decided food sensitivities might be an issue. At the same time The Kitten Lady on YouTube mentioned Bene-bac for sickly kittens or any cat with digestive issues. My old boy now eats a limited ingredient wet turkey (chicken makes his gut explode) with Bene-bac added. He really misses his old wet food, so getting him to eat is a challenge, but the presence of the product doesn't deter him at all. He eats it the same with or without the product if I mix it in, maybe even making him like it a little more. He's not a fan of it just sitting on top of the food - maybe a texture issue? So his poo is almost back to normal, though still super stinky (he sneaks the other cat's food occasionally), and his stomach no longer makes endless growling and popping sounds. Something is working! I don't know if it was just switching to a novel protein or if adding Bene-bac did the trick, but I figure an old cat's digestion isn't what it used to be. Adding pre- and probiotics would probably help, can't hurt, and it's not very expensive, since one bottle has lasted weeks.

Life saver
This probiotic is a life saver for my 6 year old chinchilla. She had a surgery last summer and developed post-surgery stacis, producing virtually droppings. Even though we had the prescribed stacis medicine, this lasted for about 4 days at which point I started to add this probiotic into the her critical care, and she started passing the very next day! So I keep adding the probiotic to the critical care until after a few more weeks she finally went back to her normal diet. Then just last week, I noticed she seemed to have some sever abdomen pain. She barely walked or moved, and when she did she can't keep her belly off the floor, and eventually just lie on her side. We suspected it was because she chewed some tape off the cardboard that we use as fences during her play time, and might have swallowed it. Since she almost didn't eat or drink or had any droppings for the entire day, the most urgent thing was to get some water and food into her. So I gave her some critical care mixed with the probiotic, some more lukewarm water (the key is really to make sure she takes in water and nutrition), and some left over pain medicine from her previous doctor visits. The exotic vets weren't in the office for the night so we had to wait until next morning for her to be seen. I was so worried about her since she looked absolutely awful, that I was even afraid that I might wake up and found her dead. But to my surprise, when I rushed to her cage the next morning, I found some new droppings on the cage floor! She still looked a little out of shape, but at least was moving around a bit more, and she finished the few pellets left in her bowl the previous night, meaning she wanted to eat. So I gave her another feeding of critical care mixed with the probiotic, and left some more food in her bowl. After she had her rest in the day, she was almost as good as new, and was producing the most beautiful droppings I've ever seen :) By that point, I was confident that after a final critical care feeding, she should be good to go. I can't help sharing this long story because I was so happy to have nursed my chinchilla back to health with the help of this probiotic. I can't completely rule out the possibility of coincidence, but my experience with the probiotic has been so positive, that I'd like to give a high recommendation. I'd like to wish good health to all pets, and happiness to their owners.

GOOD FOR SENSITIVE DOG TUMMY
When I first opened the Bene-Bac Plus powder, I was really relieved that it has almost no noticeable scent, which was my biggest worry since I needed to mix it into my dog’s food. The most significant pro is how quickly and effectively this prebiotic and probiotic combination settled my dog's sensitive stomach; within just two days of use, the loose stools were gone, and his digestion became incredibly regular, making mealtime much easier for both of us. The powder format is fantastic because it easily sticks to dry kibble when a tiny bit of water is added, and the large one pound tub offers exceptional value compared to single dose tubes, especially for daily long term use. The only real con I can point out is that the scoop size is a bit large for very small pets, meaning I have to eyeball a smaller serving for my cat when she needs it, which isn't ideal for precise dosing. If you have a pet that frequently experiences digestive upset, is recovering from antibiotics, or simply needs daily support for a healthy gut biome, I wholeheartedly recommend this product; it is a true lifesaver for sensitive tummies.

Short expiry date
Having ordered the 1-pound item on 15th December for my two guinea pigs that have recurrent gut issues, I was dismayed to discover that it was due to expire in less than two months.
